The Ukrainian leader announced this on social media platform X on Wednesday, February 12.

Conversation Between Zelensky and Trump

"I just spoke with Donald Trump. It was a lengthy conversation. We discussed the possibility of achieving peace. Our readiness to work together at the team level. Our technological capabilities, particularly drones and other modern productions. I am grateful to President Trump for his interest in what we can accomplish together," Zelensky noted.

The parties discussed Zelensky's conversation with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen, as well as the preparation of a new agreement on security and economic and resource cooperation. Trump shared details of his conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky stated that Ukraine desires peace more than anyone else.

"We are defining our joint steps with America to stop Russian aggression and ensure a reliable, lasting peace. As President Trump said, let's get it done. We agreed on further contacts and meetings," the head of state added.
