Зеленский сообщил, что получил приглашение на инаугурацию Трампа.

Zelensky announced that he received an invitation to Trump's inauguration.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he received an invitation to the inauguration of the new U.S. President Donald Trump. However, since the invitation was more of a general nature, the Ukrainian leader decided not to attend.

Zelensky mentioned this in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.

Trump's Inauguration

"First of all, I want to say that Trump invited me to the inauguration, but he did so in general terms. Apparently, as with other leaders, I don’t know whom he invited personally or otherwise," Zelensky stated.

He noted that leaders need time to discuss how to end the war. At that moment, during the inauguration, Trump had his own issues on the agenda.

"Perhaps one of the most important days in his life and in the lives of Americans. I believe it would have been simply inappropriate for me to attend. He didn't have time for a personal meeting," the president added.

Let us remind you that Zelensky announced Trump's visit to Ukraine. Currently, the teams of the presidents are discussing a possible date for the trip.

In the event of a prolonged NATO accession process lasting for years, Zelensky is convinced that Ukraine should acquire nuclear weapons and missiles to halt Russian aggression.
