In Lviv, relatives and friends of imprisoned soldiers gathered for a rally to remind the citizens of Ukraine that thousands of defense forces are still held captive by the invaders. Combat comrades of the prisoners were also present.
Participants held banners with slogans such as "Freedom for Azov," "They are being tortured while you remain silent," "Find and Bring Back," and others.
The rally saw people of various ages—both youth and older individuals. Children could also be seen among the crowd. Cars passing by honked in support of the rally participants.
It is worth noting that a similar rally in support of prisoners of war took place today on one of the central streets of Kyiv.
Earlier, we reported that Ukraine and Russia conducted 11 prisoner exchanges throughout 2024. Our country managed to return over a thousand fighters.
