The correspondent of Novyny.LIVE visited the rehabilitation center "Little Prince" in Kharkiv.
"Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, there is a significant need for the rescue of animals and assistance specifically from the combat zones, where fighting continues and cities are constantly under fire. As a result, both people and animals suffer," noted Vintonyuk.
She explained that the animal rehabilitation center "Little Prince" was opened in 2023 because they recognized that animals rescued during the war require special conditions. This refers to more domesticated environments where they can feel safe.
A representative of the organization mentioned that the center invites military personnel, children, and anyone interested to come and interact with the cats.
"This is a form of mutual support, as the cats lack attention, and it also provides support for people," she added.
We remind you that in Mykolaiv, there are plans to open a modern center for stray animals for nearly 60 million hryvnias.
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, shared details about the salary of a cat named Levchik, who lives in the city council building.
