The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the attraction of a $1 billion grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for budget support.
As reported by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, via his Telegram channel, the relevant decision was made during the government meeting on Thursday.
In particular, it has been deemed appropriate to attract the grant for budget support from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which serves as the executive agency of the Financial Intermediary Fund to facilitate resource mobilization for investment in strengthening Ukraine, for co-financing the Second Program in Support of the Development Policy "Foundations of Growth" up to $1 billion.
