The Lviv City Council approved the budget for 2025 during a session. A total of 47 deputies voted in favor of the project.
“The general fund of the Lviv community budget will amount to 14.4 billion UAH in revenues, while expenditures will reach 17.7 billion UAH,” reported Andriy Moskalenko, the First Deputy Mayor of Lviv, on his Facebook page.
According to him, the education sector is allocated 4.9 billion UAH, critical infrastructure will receive 3.8 billion UAH, medicine and social protection will get 1.04 billion UAH, and support for the Armed Forces will be 1 billion UAH.
“Our priorities remain unchanged. First and foremost is support for the Armed Forces, secondly is education, and thirdly is critical infrastructure,” said Moskalenko, who also noted that to fulfill all planned programs, the city intends to take a loan of 1 billion UAH.
