The Ministry of Economy has added a nutritionist, medical statistics professional, operator for detecting explosive devices, and 47 other job titles related to medicine, the judicial system, the prosecution, media, and various fields, as reported on the agency's website on Thursday.
It is noted that the Ministry of Economy has also eliminated 42 outdated job titles, including “instructor for organizing the work of people's patrols,” “teacher of social pedagogy,” “criminal prosecutor,” and has modified 34 professional job titles. The relevant changes have been approved by the order "On the approval of amendment No. 14 to the national classifier DK 003:2010".
In particular, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Health, eight job titles in the healthcare sector have been modernized, and new job titles such as nutritionist and medical statistics professional have been introduced.
At the initiative of the National Police, the classifier has been supplemented with a new group "investigators (police)." This includes six titles for investigators: investigator (police), senior investigator for particularly important cases, forensic investigator (police), and others.
It is emphasized that at the suggestion of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Supreme Court, the High Council of Justice, and the Association of Lawyers of Ukraine, another 52 professions have been aligned with legislation in the field of justice, judiciary, and prosecution. In particular, the job title "legal consultant" has been changed to “legal consultant (legal advisor)”.
Additionally, 18 professions have been updated in accordance with the legislation in the media sector at the suggestion of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine. Specifically, new positions such as text author (copywriter), speech author, and videographer have appeared in the classifier.
Among the new professions are a master in the operation and repair of robotic and mechatronic systems, operator of the Operational Rescue Service of Civil Protection, station agent, operator on duty in the area (in railway transport), manager of sports activities; analyst for risk assessment, threats, and the security status of critical infrastructure facilities, specialist in protection and resilience of critical infrastructure facilities.
As of now, the classifier includes 9,180 professional job titles (professions, positions, occupations) that are systematized into professional groups based on the nature and complexity of the work performed, qualifications (level of education, specialization), according to the hierarchy of the International Standard Classification of Occupations (International Standard Classification of Occupations).
