The total amount of funds accumulated by participants in the "National Cashback" program has reached 1 billion UAH, the Ministry of Economy reports on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
"Of this amount, 606 million UAH is the result for December and the first half of January - 436 million UAH and 170 million UAH, respectively," the ministry explains.
It is noted that the program is actively used by 4.7 million citizens, among whom 65% are women and 35% are men. A total of 20 banks and 1,672 manufacturers have joined the program, and cashback is available on 355.4 thousand products made in Ukraine.
The agency also reminded that the cashback accumulated for December and January will be paid out at the end of February 2025. The funds are not subject to taxation.
As reported, on October 11, the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, announced that the Ministry of Economy has completed the beta testing of the "National Cashback" program and decided to launch its national advertising campaign.
The maximum cashback amount is 3,000 UAH per month. The funds can be spent until the 20th of the following month on medical and utility services, sports, cinema, train tickets, donating to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or purchasing military bonds.
