Отмена конкурсов с международными экспертами угрожает программе с МВФ, утверждает Пидласа.

The cancellation of competitions involving international experts jeopardizes the program with the IMF, according to Pidlasa.

The cancellation of competitions for positions in government bodies involving international experts could jeopardize the program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to Roksolana Pidlasa, head of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

The cancellation of competitions for positions in government bodies involving international experts threatens to derail the program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to the head of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Roksolana Pidlasa.

"Before the independent competition for the Accounting Chamber even began yesterday, 56 members of parliament (mainly from BYuT, OPZZH, but from various factions) registered a constitutional submission to declare all competitions with international experts invalid. All these competitions were beacons for the IMF, and their cancellation jeopardizes the program with the IMF, which directly impacts the most vulnerable citizens – retirees and those receiving assistance from the state budget, not to mention the funding for healthcare and education," – Pidlasa wrote on Facebook on Friday.

She noted that if the Constitutional Court decides to cancel such competitions, the involvement of international experts in the selection of judges, heads of NABU, SAP, members of the High Council of Justice, the Accounting Chamber, customs, and other bodies will cease.

The participation of international experts strengthens partners' trust in Ukraine and enables the attraction of foreign funds, Pidlasa pointed out. It is telling that the president of the aggressor country has expressed criticism regarding such a procedure, she added.

"The attempt to 'dismantle' the norms regarding the involvement of international experts is, unfortunately, a struggle against the future of Ukraine. It is shameful that members of parliament are engaged in this," – she emphasized.

As reported, a constitutional submission from 56 members of the Ukrainian parliament has been filed with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, requesting a review of the constitutionality of several provisions of Ukrainian legislation concerning the involvement of foreign citizens in important state bodies. In particular, the constitutional submission challenges specific provisions of the laws of Ukraine: "On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine," "On the High Council of Justice," "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges," "On the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine," "On the Accounting Chamber," "On the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine," and many others.
