The import of trucks into Ukraine in 2024 increased by 30% in monetary terms compared to 2023, reaching $947.84 million, according to statistics from the State Customs Service.
According to data released on Friday, the most trucks were imported from Poland, totaling $188.45 million (or 19.88% of the overall structure of such imports), which is 84.4% more than the previous year.
From France, trucks worth $118.53 million (12.5%) were imported—28% more than last year—while imports from the USA amounted to $107.07 million. Last year, the top three supplier countries for truck imports were Poland (14% of total truck imports), Korea (13.2%), and France (12.7%).
Imports from other countries increased by 21.9% over the past year, reaching $533.8 million.
Additionally, according to the statistics, in December, trucks worth $112.87 million were imported into Ukraine, compared to $81.32 million in the same month last year.
In 2024, Ukraine exported trucks worth $4.06 million, primarily to Moldova (27% of such exports), Turkey (23.6%), and Poland (11%), whereas the previous year, exports amounted to EUR3.87 million, mainly to Armenia (32.3%), Romania (25.7%), and Turkey (16.4%). No trucks were exported in December.
