The 'Winter eSupport' has surpassed all previous government support programs," Svyrydenko noted.

She also pointed out that the key areas where people are directing the received assistance remain heating bills and other utility services.

The Minister of Economy indicated that among the 10 million applications in "Diia" over one and a half months, 14% are from internally displaced persons, 18.5% from individuals aged 60 and older, with women submitting 68% of applications and men 32%. The average age of applicants is 40 years.

As previously reported, applications for receiving 1,000 UAH under the "Winter eSupport" program can be submitted through "Diia" during the winter of 2024/2025, with funds to be spent throughout 2025. In particular, the assistance can be used for medicines, books, clothing, bus and train tickets, utility payments, or redirected to charitable accounts of the Security and Defense Forces or volunteer funds.

Earlier, the Prime Minister stated that the authorities would conduct an audit of the assistance provided under the "Winter eSupport" program later on. Those who submitted applications from abroad will need to return the funds.
