Ukrainian drone units are seeking effective methods to eliminate enemy infantry using drones, thereby disrupting enemy attacks.

This was reported by the chief sergeant of the UAV strike company of the 109th battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yegor Firsov, during an interview on "Espresso".

The serviceman noted that his unit is primarily focused on the Toretsk direction, which is challenging but relatively calmer than the Kurakhove direction.

"In our sector, things are quieter than, for example, in Kurakhove, because the enemy has concentrated all its forces there to align the front line closer to Pokrovsk and is preparing to launch an offensive on Pokrovsk. Therefore, the most difficult times for the city of Pokrovsk will likely come closer to the New Year," Yegor Firsov stated.

The military emphasized that the situation at the front is far from peaceful.

"We need an honest conversation, and we must tell people this: various situations await us ahead, where there may be a cessation of hostilities or possibly a resurgence of military actions. However, I can definitely say that February 22, 2022, will unfortunately never return; that is the past, and now we must shape the future.

No matter how the negotiations conclude, we are gradually becoming an object of certain agreements rather than a player that represents something significant. We need to be strong and learn from our mistakes," Yegor Firsov added.
