A thermobaric warhead is indeed a dangerous weapon that Russian occupiers have begun to use almost constantly in their "Shaheds".
This was shared by military-political analyst Alexander Kovalenko from the "Information Resistance" group during a broadcast on "Praymiy".
According to the military expert, thermobaric mixtures are significantly more powerful than hexogen or TNT, with nuclear weapons being the only thing more powerful.
"So, after nuclear weapons, which are unconventional, thermobaric mixtures rank among the most powerful conventional weapons.
However, there is a nuance – they are less effective in open air than in enclosed spaces. When a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone equipped with a thermobaric warhead strikes a house or building, it becomes particularly dangerous because the thermobaric mixture disperses in enclosed areas," Alexander Kovalenko explained.
The military expert emphasized that it is crucial not to ignore air raid alerts due to "Shaheds", as the Russians are indeed equipping them with this hazardous mixture.
"The principle of 'two walls,' for instance, does not always work under such conditions. Therefore, it is better to be in a bomb shelter or parking garage rather than staying in your home during such a kamikaze drone attack," Alexander Kovalenko noted.
