On the Novopavlivka front, the Russian army continues its active assault operations north of the Donetsk-Zaporizhzhia highway, along the Slavyanka-Petropavlivka line, and in the areas of Yasenove-Novoandriivka and Novoelizavetivka-Nadeivka.

However, the most significant threat comes from enemy attacks in the direction of Shevchenko (lower) – Andriivka, targeting one of the key defense areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this sector, north of the Vovcha River. This was reported by military analyst and coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, Konstantin Mashovets, on his Telegram channel.

According to the expert, in just a few days, Russian occupiers operating along the Orlova River managed to advance up to one kilometer, getting close to the eastern edge of the village of Andriivka. As a result, the enemy has extended a "tongue" from the village of Shevchenko towards Andriivka, which could be vulnerable to counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the north and northwest, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently lack the strength to do so.

Konstantin Mashovets noted that the enemy is also advancing in the directions of Kurakhove-Dachne and Dalne-Yantarne, continuing frontal pressure on the positions of defenders in the remnants of the Kurakhivka salient of Ukrainian troops.

The military expert added that the enemy command on the Novopavlivka front is currently faced with a dilemma: either attempt to encircle those of our units still defending in the "remnants of the Kurakhivka salient" along the Dachne-Yantarne line, or simply push them out from this line.
