Heavy urban battles continue in Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, and Russian occupation forces are managing to advance.
This was reported by military analyst, coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, and retired colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konstantin Mashovets, on his Telegram channel here.
According to the military expert, units of the 1st and 9th motorized infantry brigades of the enemy's 51st combined arms army are persistently breaking through the center of Toretsk towards its western and northern outskirts.
It is worth noting that earlier, the head of the Toretsk city military administration, Vasily Chinchik, stated that the situation in the city is very complicated and the front line is constantly changing, with the occupiers gradually advancing and already controlling most of the civilian buildings.
Konstantin Mashovets mentioned that in Chasiv Yar, units of the 4th separate motorized infantry brigade of the 3rd combined arms army are currently operating, reinforced by units from the 98th Airborne Division including its 331st and 299th parachute regiments, as well as the 200th motorized infantry brigade from the 14th army corps of the "North" group of troops.
The military expert added that in Chasiv Yar, the occupiers are also gradually advancing, trying to fully take control of the northern part of the city. Currently, the enemy has managed to establish a foothold in the "Severny" area.
