In Kryvyi Rih, as a result of a strike, preliminary information from the OVA indicates that three people have died.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak.
An educational institution and residential buildings have been damaged.
"In Kryvyi Rih, as a result of a Russian attack, an educational institution and residential buildings have been damaged. We are currently verifying if there are any casualties. An air raid alert is ongoing. Please remain in safe places until it is lifted," the statement reads.
Later information suggested that three individuals were killed by the Russian army's strike on Kryvyi Rih, and there are also wounded.
The consequences of the attack are being clarified, and emergency services are working at the scene.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces launched "Iskander-M" missiles at Ukraine during the night and attacked with Shahed-type strike drones.
On the night of January 17, the occupiers launched two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles at Ukraine, along with an attack involving 50 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 33 enemy drones were shot down.
As a result of the downed drones, buildings of institutions, a private enterprise, and homes in the Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions were damaged.
According to data from the Kyiv OVA, a child was injured in the attack, with a suspected concussion and a laceration on the thigh. The child has been hospitalized.
