This was reported by the people's deputy Alexander Korniyenko in a comment to journalist Galina Ostapovets from Novini.LIVE on Wednesday, January 22.
As the deputy noted, it is now possible to sense that the world is somewhat "tired" of the war that Russia has unleashed in Ukraine. According to Korniyenko, this has been said for a long time, but strong allies continue to stand with Ukraine.
"Of course, the countries that are closest to Russia understand that if they do not assist Ukraine and do not create conditions for Ukraine to achieve a just peace, whether diplomatic or through military means to regain its territories, they will be next," the deputy emphasized.
Korniyenko added that Ukraine is striving to collaborate with various countries. He cited Slovakia and Hungary as examples and pointed out that "not everyone thinks the same way as their leaders."
"We communicate with everyone. With the government, with the opposition," the people's deputy stated.
Let us recall that Alexander Korniyenko also announced that Ukraine has signed an agreement to advance its NATO membership. This took place during a working visit to Brussels.
The head of EU diplomacy, Kaia Kallas, noted that EU assistance to Ukraine could become one of the key factors for victory in the war. She highlighted that 134 billion euros have already been allocated to support our country.
