According to Sibiga, the visit of Chinese representatives to Kyiv will allow for a more in-depth discussion on ways to achieve a sustainable and fair peace for Ukraine.

"Once again, publicly, in front of the media, I want to invite you to visit Ukraine at your convenience and at a time that works for you. This will be very important for us, and we definitely need the opportunity to discuss in greater depth the pathways to a lasting and just peace for Ukraine," stated the head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.

The diplomat also noted a positive trend in the restoration of political dialogue between Ukraine and China.

"We need your support and I hope that today's meeting will be another step towards revitalizing bilateral relations between our countries. We are pleased to note the positive trend in the restoration of political dialogue between our states in 2024," concluded Sibiga.

As a reminder, Chinese officials proposed to President Donald Trump's team to arrange a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. However, the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the negotiations was not planned.

Previously, President Donald Trump announced his intention to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
