Vance emphasized the significance of peace talks, noting that the American and Ukrainian delegations will continue their collaborative efforts to reach appropriate solutions.

"This conversation is moving us forward, and above all, you have remarkable members of the Ukrainian delegation. We have our incredible Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Also present is General Joseph Keith Kellogg. It is crucial that we have come together and started the necessary discussions to bring this process to a close. That’s all I will say for now, as I want to maintain flexibility for the negotiators and our teams to prepare a response," stated the U.S. Vice President.

Earlier, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth mentioned during a press briefing at the Munich Security Conference that the question of Ukraine's future borders remains a topic of discussion and should be resolved through negotiations.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he does not believe in the peace plan proposed by the United States.
