Court Hearing on the Murder Case of Faryon

The session regarding the murder of linguist Irina Faryon was scheduled to begin on January 3 at 10:30 at the Shevchenkivskyi District Court in Lviv.

The mother of the suspect, Vyacheslav Zinchenko, has already arrived at the court. Friends are comforting her in the corridor as everyone awaits the arrival of the defendant.

However, the hearing did not start on time due to a reported bomb threat at the courthouse. People were evacuated.

It is worth noting that the case surrounding Irina Faryon's death has been reclassified. Vyacheslav Zinchenko is now suspected of intentional murder, facing a potential life sentence.

Additionally, we reported that on December 5, the court in Lviv rejected the appeal filed by Zinchenko's lawyer. He remains in custody without the possibility of bail.

Meanwhile, his lawyer stated that the investigation is focused on proving Zinchenko's guilt rather than identifying the actual murderer.
